Dear Consignors:

Welcome! We consign children's items for 45 days. You are paid 40% of the purchase price. After 30 days most clothing and toys are reduced to half price. At the end of 60 days you must pick-up your unsold items or choose to have them donated to a local charity. Unsold items must be picked up within 2 days. Tax receipts are available upon request at year end. There is a first time consignment fee of $5.00 payable at sign up. Account sales are posted daily and are payable in cash during business hours. We stock seasonal merchandise, so it is best to call or check our web site for acceptable clothing. You may bring in items during business hours, no appointment is necessary. Clothing must be clean, odor and stain free with all buttons, snaps and zippers in working order. Rips and tears will not be accepted. Sneakers must be new; shoes need to be in new condition. Infant clothing (0-9m) must be new. You may be restricted to 10 new items per week as space allows. Outfits count as one and must match in size. We accept sizes 0 through 14 for boys and girls.

For equipment and large toys please call ahead. We must follow the NY state guidelines for reselling infant and toddler equipment. Car seats must be newer than 3 years old. High chairs and cribs must meet current safety standards. Strollers must be clean and good working order. Large outdoor toys must be clean with no missing parts; Children's videos and DVDs must have original covers. We accept age appropriate video and computer games. Windows 95-98 are no longer acceptable.

APRIL

Short sleeves and long legs, large outdoor play equipment

MAY

Short sleeves and shorts

JUNE

Sleeveless, shorts, bathing suits, and cover-ups

JULY

End of summer clothes to about the middle of month

AUGUST

Short sleeves, long legs, raincoats, light jackets, Scout and sport attire and equipment, dance items, book bags, and educational grade school items

SEPTEMBER

Long legs, long or short sleeves (not too heavy), (end Sept. Halloween costumes)

OCTOBER

Long sleeve, long legs, sweaters, rain boots, Halloween costumes.

NOVEMBER

Long sleeves, long legs, Outerwear, boots, hats, gloves, Holiday clothing, new toys.

DECEMBER

Winter clothes until Christmas vacation, the store will be closed from Christmas through New Year's Day.
